At the end of last summer I flew to Mexico to shoot a fashion story for Vogue Mexico and work on a branding and styling project for model, and fashion television host, Adriana Abascal. After a long flight and a three hour trek through rural Mexico I arrived at a very secluded Island called Careyes, which was beautiful. It was both incredible and extremely challenging to say the least.

Isabel and I were photographed by a dear friend Melinda, for a new series featuring mothers and children. There's not many people I trust with such a personal session, but Melinda has a way of capturing otherworldly imagery that connects to seeing people intimately that I don't often see in portraiture. It was an honor to be photographed by her and "seen" so delicately through her lens.
