Signature Series

Geraldine Rose is a master gardner, fiercely knowledgable feminist and also, my grandmother. As a creative relief from my profesional photography work, I began taking snapshots of her floral creatures in her backyard California garden where she houses over 70 varieties of edible plants. My earliest years of wonder and exploration developed in the back yards, kitchens, swimming pools of both my grandparents homes.

The Gerladine signature series is a botanical nod to celebrate the avocado trees that grandma Jerry waited 15 years to bloom... and a subtle progression of hope to express that beautiful things can come from darkness and sometimes dreams need a little patience to blossom. 

Each card is printed with premium paper and a spacious mailing envelope adorned with handcut golden flecked twine and an adherent antique gold wax seal to make that message just a little more special.
